Make your voice heard loud and clear!  Often only those most affected by political decisions are the only ones contacting their political leadership.  Since wildlife lacks a voice, it is caring citizens like you who must speak up for them - help defend wildlife's right to exist!

Note: Content relates primarily United States of America government decisions, for other countries look in our "International" section.

 Federal Decisions

Federal decisions come from one of three primary sources: the executive branch (e.g. Presidential Executive Orders); the legislative branch (in bills or votes before the congress or senate) or from federal agencies (e.g. the National Park Service).  While executive orders are typically the last word on a subject, your congressional representatives get paid, in part to hear your opinions.  Additionally, all major policy and planning efforts by federal agencies pass through a public comment period when you can make your voice heard.  Finding out about issues you may be interested in is now easier than ever as the federal registry notes all pending decisions and most federal agencies accept comments via e-mail.

 Local Decisions

State, county and municipal governments are ultimately the decision makers for a variety of important issues, from local parks to roadway construction.  We'll guide you through the steps of contacting the appropriate elected representative, but the final step is up to you!

-
 International Decisions

Regardless of your nationality you too can help influence international policy.  Many international treaties and decisions are made with relatively little public input, but these decisions are made by our elected officials and should reflect the desires of the populous.  Help us strengthen the voice of those speaking for the environment.
